Most success formulas recommend us what to do without helping us deal with the biggest obstacle for success each one of us has inside ourselves: our mind-set. The problem is that the vast majority of people think wrong about themselves.
And it is that poor self-image that will always stand in their way to achieving success.
That is why God designed a plan that would make success dependent on Him and His power instead of anything we could achieve on our own. And it is available to all of us.
Here are four steps to God's unfailing success formula:
To Be
Most people have a poor self image because they are totally ignorant about who they really are. God designed each human being for greatness. Yes, there is a genius in each one of us. He created every human being with a unique set of talents and gifts and designed a perfect plan for them to walk in. No exceptions.
The problem is that mankind turned his back on God and decided to figure things out on his own. But anybody who is born again by accepting Jesus as Lord over his life becomes a child of God and is automatically marked for success. Not because of what we can do, but because of what Jesus has already done for us. He loved us so much that He gave His life to reconcile us with God and make the blessing available to us again.
It is then that our very essence comes to be that of a conqueror. God's supernatural power and favor will rest over our life and we are automatically placed in His winning team by His grace.
To Do
But it just doesn't fall into our lap. God's promises are received by faith, not out of need. And faith comes by hearing the Word of God and then acting upon it. The Word of God has the power to break that loser mentality and gives us the boldness to step out and be who He created us to be. Jesus said that by His Word we would know the Truth, and the Truth would set us free (John 8:32).
Another thing we have to start doing is to consciously develop our God-given talents with self-directed learning. God will provide the wisdom, the strength and the supernatural power to be successful in everything we endeavor, but we have to make the steps.
To Give
As soon as you receive from God, you pass it on to others. It is the giver who receives most in life. In the measure that you give to others, God will give back to you. Jesus Himself said that giving was more blessed than receiving.
To Have
Once you have followed the first three steps diligently for a season in your life, you will achieve true success. The God of abundance will bless you beyond anything you can imagine. Your confidence will no longer rest on your own limited abilities, but on the unfailing promises God has made to everyone who chooses to flow with His program.
